#116 - FLOWER
A thousand seeds drift upon the wind,
---and go to ground, and hide, and sleep and grow,
---and produce a thousand flowers,
---which produce a thousand thousand seeds
---which drift upon the wind.
One seed lands,
---and hides and grows...
A thousand people drift upon the wind,
---and go to ground, and hide, and sleep, and grow,
---and produce a thousand thousand people,
---which drift upon the wind.
One person wakes,
---and drifts upon the wind...
One person stood before that one flower,
---as it waited for him,
---had waited all its life,
---had waited for all eternity,
------a destiny of chance meetings...
------a chance for destiny perhaps...
That one flower, pluckd, stands before you.
It offers all that it can, as it dies
---the beauty of texture,
------of colour,
------of fragrance...
It offers all that it has.
That one person waits for you.
Offering all that he can, while he lives,
---laughter and tears,
---joy and sorrow,
---comfort and rest,
---truth and beauty...
Body, mind and soul...
He offers all that he has,
---before he withers and dies,
like a thousand thousand flowers before him...
